Gallox, male pan feeding system
VDL Agrotech has developed the Gallox, a new feed pan for feeding 8-10 males per pan in broiler breeder houses.
FEED PAN WITH CUPS
The Gallox feed pan offers ample space for 8 to 10 males to get feed from each pan in broiler breeder houses. The Gallox bottom with “cups” and extra ridge ensures that the dosed feed doesn’t spread further into the bottom pan while dosing the feed. Males have to peck the feed out of the small “cups” in a specific way, spreading the feed time over a longer period.
ANIMAL WELFARE
The Gallox improves the animal welfare as there is less stress in the house during feeding.The design of the pan without grille ensures that the combs are not damaged and that the males have optimal access to the feed.

The Valenta broiler pan feeding system is designed to improve animal welfare and performance.
ANIMAL WELFARE AND PERFORMANCE
The grill-less pan design prevents broilers from getting caught and prevents feed from shifting to one side. The rounded edges, swinging and rotation of the pan makes sure that the birds do not get injured. The hinged pan bottom and open pan design allows easy emptying and cleaning of the broiler feed pan. The smooth surface, swinging and rotating feed pan facilitates cleaning and disinfection with high-pressure washer.
